News Round Up! 11th May

Each week I recap the YA stories that have popped up on my radar this week. So without further ado, this week's news!

The news broke last night that The Fault in Our Star's movie has found its Gus! Alsel Elgort has been cast after being rumoured to be trying out for the part. He will star alongside his Divergent co-star Shailene Woodley who is playing Hazel Grace. What do you think of the casting? Check out more about this story on Hypable. You can check out Ansel's reaction on Twitter below:

It was sad news for Delirium fans this week as it was revealed the pilot has not been picked up by Fox. Are you disappointed? Do you think Delirium could work as a TV show in the future, or were you maybe hoping for a film adaptation? Let me know in the comments! Read more about this story on Page to Premiere.

Before City of Bones has even been released in cinemas, it was announced that City of Ashes, the second book in The Mortal Instruments series, has been green lit with the main cast returning for the sequel. Are you excited about seeing even more Mortal Instruments films? Read more about this story on Hypable.

As well as that, a UK poster was revealed for City of Bones which you can see over on MSN Movies. Plus a stream of character posters are starting to appear. See Magnus' poster here on TMISource.

Another sequel that's looking like it has a future is Veronica Roth's Insurgent, which this week gained a screenwriter. Read about that story over on Hypable. There was also exciting cover news about the upcoming final book in the Divergent trilogy. The author appeared on The Today Show to reveal the Allegiant cover which you can see on Page to Premiere at this link. What do you think of it?

UK readers can now purchase e-book copies of Jennifer L. Armentrout's Covenant series which was made available by Hodder & Stoughton this week. I haven't read these books yet but I've heard great things, and I'll definitely be checking them out in the future. Find out more on the Hodder & Stoughton website at this link.
