Weekly Book Round Up! 17th March

Weekly Book Round Up!

11th - 17th March

You know when you finally manage to drag yourself out of a reading slump and start feeling positive and on top of your reading? That has happened to me this week - hurrah! So here's a quick catch up on all my reading and blogging from this week, accompanied by some positive vibes!

Currently reading: I'm reading The Railway Children by E. Nesbit on my Kindle as part of my Children's Classics Challenge!

Books finished: Splintered by A. G. Howard which I really liked. And Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor, the sequel to Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I love the writing in these books so much and I was hooked on this one! Reviews of both to come!

Books reviewed: Glow by Amy Kathleen Ryan and Seeing Redd by Frank Beddor.

Other posts: Teaser Tuesdays, Cover Reveal: In Your Dreams by Amy Martin, Friday Finds and News Round Up!.

  1. I read Daughter of Smoke and Bone a few weeks ago and loved it so I'll definitely have to read Days of Blood and Starlight soon. I also really want to read Splintered because I've heard really good things about it.
I started reading The Railway Children a few years ago but never got around to finishing it, although I do have it on my Kindle. Hope you're enjoying it!

    1. Days of Blood and Starlight definitely lived up to Daughter of Smoke and Bone, although it did feel quite different in places. But the writing and the characters were just as amazing! I hope you manage to read that and Splintered soon :) I don't know if I ever read The Railway Children as a kid but I remember the film being one of my favourites and watching it over and over again so I'm enjoying getting into the book. And I'm adoring it so far! :D Thanks so much for your lovely comment Lucy :)
