Bumper Book Round Up!

17th September - 7th October

Hey guys! As you know the blog had a little break, and so this week's catch up will be a bumper one to cover everything that's been happening! These are my bookish antics from the past two weeks or so.

For review: I've recieved a fair few review copies in the past few weeks. I'm really excited to get started on them! Here are the physical copies I received:

In Your Dreams by Amy Martin (from the author)
The Last Falcon by Colleen Ruttan (Goodreads first reads)

and the e-book copies:

The Flight of the Griffin by C.M. Gray (from the author)
Spooked by Tracy Sharp (from the author)

Currently reading: The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

Books finished: Linger by Maggie Steifvater, Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick, Fallen by Lauren Kate, The Casual Vacancy by J.K Rowling

Books reviewed: How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff, Linger by Maggie Stiefvater, Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick

Bought: The Causal Vacancy by J. K. Rowling

(I won't be posting my review of The Casual Vacancy on the blog but you can read my thoughts on it in my Goodreads review here.)

What have you been reading recently? Let me know!

  1. I loved your review of The Casual Vacancy and I hope you enjoy Uglies because I'm nearly finished reading it and I've loved it, for the most part.

Also: not concerning the post but you're participating in NaNoWriMo! Good luck! :)

    Heather.

    1. Thanks Heather! I can't wait to start Uglies, glad you've enjoyed it :D

And thank you for the luck! Do you do NaNoWriMo? :D I won last year but I had so much more spare time back then... I think it'll be a struggle this year so your luck is much appreciated! :)

    2. I finished Uglies this morning and it was a brilliant ending. :)

I did NaNoWriMo for the first time last year and I won with about four days to spare. It was mad and hectic by the end but it really helped with my writing and encouraged me over this last year. I'm really excited to do it again this year, especially since I've convinced a friend to have a go. I'm hoping to get a bit more involved in my region this time as well since last year I just stuck to myself. :)

    3. Oh I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've just started it and I'm loving it so far :D

I'd definitely recommend getting a friend on board :) my friend and I did it together last year. I went to a few meet-ups in my local city too and they were really helpful. Everyone was so lovely! Good luck :D
