Friday Finds: 10th May

FRIDAY FINDS is hosted over at Should Be Reading and showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased).

Burn Mark by Laura Powell
Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta
The Drowning by Rachel Ward
The School for Good and Evil by Soman Chainani
Entanglement by Dan Rix
Wanted by Annika James

Most of these Finds I discovered through blogs this week which is one of my favourite ways to discover new books! I downloaded Entanglement as a freebie from the Kindle store and Wanted was sent for review.

Are any of these on your to-read list? What books have you discovered this week? Let me know in the comments!

Acid by Emma Pass
Soulmates by Holly Bourne
Impostor by Susanne Winnacker
Tempest by Julie Cross
Dollhouse by Anna Allyn
Grace Doll by Jennifer Laurens

Acid, Soulmates, Impostor and Tempest were all books I came across via Twitter or Goodreads. Grace Doll and Dollhouse were just two of the free Kindle downloads I found and added to my TBR list this week. I love the cover of Dollhouse!

Friday Finds: 26th April

FRIDAY FINDS is hosted over at Should Be Reading and showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased).

This week I did some major reorganising of my Goodreads shelves (which is way more satisfying than it should be!) so I've allowed myself to start adding books to an exclusive "looks interesting" shelf and keeping my "to-read" shelf for books I either own, have on hold at the library or are in a series I already started. That way my to-read list doesn't get to clogged up. I'll be featuring books from both my actual "to-read" and my "looks interesting" shelf in Friday Finds as both lists cover new discoveries. So let's get cracking!

The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau
What I Didn't Say by Keary Taylor
The Edge of Always by J. A. Redmerski
Ink by Amanda Sun

The Testing was a book I discovered through Twitter. I'm really excited to read this one as it's billed as "for fans of The Hunger Games" and those are always books I adore <3 Next up is What I Didn't Say which I grabbed as a free Kindle download. I added The Edge of Always after finishing the first book The Edge of Never and really enjoying it. And Ink by Amanda Sun was covered on the Mira Ink blog which I really enjoy reading. This looks like a really unique book.

What have you added to your to-read list this week? I'd love to hear from you! Let me know in the comments and if you have a blog then link me to your Friday Finds and I'll be sure to check them out.

Friday Finds: 19th April

FRIDAY FINDS is hosted over at Should Be Reading and showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased).

My Life After Now by Jessica Verdi
What Really Happened in Peru by Cassandra Clare
The Language of Souls by Lena Goldfinch
Coexist by Julia Crane

My Life After Now is a 2013 debut I came across this week. What Really Happened in Peru is the first installment in the Bane Chronicles, a series of short stories about Magnus Bane from The Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices series. Coexist and The Language of Souls were both free Kindle downloads. How gorgeous are those covers?!

Friday Finds: 12th April

FRIDAY FINDS is hosted over at Should Be Reading and showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased).

The Love Game by Emma Hart
House of Secrets by Ned Vizzini
Resist by Sarah Crossan
The Shadow Cabinet by Maureen Johnson

I'm still trying to be restrained when it comes to adding to my TBR but found some great books this week. The Shadow Cabinet is the third book in the Shades of London series. I finished The Madness Underneath this weekend and loved it! It's unreleased, hense no cover. Resist is also an unreleased Sequel. I finished the first book Breathe this week so can't wait to read the next one. The Love Game NA which I want to read more of. I've been reading really good things about it this week! And House of Secrets is at the younger end of the spectrum being a children's fantasy adventure but it looks fantastic.

What have you added to your to-read list this week? Any great books I should know about? Let me know in the comments and if you leave a link to your Friday Finds post I'll be sure to check it out!

Hopeless by Colleen Hoover
The Edge of Never by J. A. Redmerski
Wait for You by J. Lynn
Freshman Forty by Christine Duval
Avalon High by Meg Cabot

Lots of new adult this week! I bought Hopeless and The Edge of Never on Kindle this week, and Freshman Forty was a free download. I haven't bought Wait for You yet but I'll definitely check it out in the future. Avalon High is a book I found browsing my library's audiobook catalogue over the past week.

Friday Finds: 29th March

FRIDAY FINDS is hosted over at Should Be Reading and showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased).

These were all free downloads this week (surprise, surprise!). I'm particularly happy with Spellbound which was offered as a free PDF by HarlequinTeen this week. Camp Kiss is a prequel novella so it'll be interesting to see if it makes me want to read the follow up. Flight and All the Paths of Shadow were free Kindle downloads. I love the covers of both! All the Paths of Shadow looks really interesting because it's Steampunk I think which I want to read more of.

All the Paths of Shadow by Frank Tuttle
Camp Kiss by J. K. Rock
Flight by Lindsay Leggett
Spellbound by Cara Lynn Shultz

Have you read any of the above titles? And what books have you added to your to-read list this week? Let me know in the comments or link me to your Friday Finds post and I'll check it out!

Friday Finds: 22nd March

FRIDAY FINDS is hosted over at Should Be Reading and showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased).

So I've been really bad at cutting back on adding more books to my to-read list because I've been going on a major Kindle freebie binge this week. Oops! But on the upside it gives me some great books to talk about in this post ;)

The Story of the Treasure Seekers by E. Nesbit
Saving Wishes by G. J. Walker-Smith
One Week by Nikki Van De Car

I finished reading The Railway Children this week so went looking for some more E. Nesbit. I've had my eye on Saving Wishes before but have missed it when it's been free on the Kindle store. I managed to grab it this time! I love the cover <3 One Week is another freebie which sounds really interesting - involves a road trip according to Goodreads which I want to read more of!

Sacred Bloodlines by Wendy Owens
Vampire Miami by Phil Tucker
Heaven High by Anna Andrews

These three books were all free downloads from Smashwords.

The Bone Dragon by Alexia Casale
If You Find Me by Emily Murdoch
Wakefield by Erin Callahan and Troy H. Gardner

I found out about The Bone Dragon via Twitter and read about If You Find Me on a blog this week. And Wakefield is a book I was sent for review.

Phew! Like I said, lots of finds this week. What have you been adding to your to-read list this week? Let me know in the comments or link me up to your Friday Finds post!

Friday Finds: 15th March

FRIDAY FINDS is hosted over at Should Be Reading and showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased).

I'm still trying not to add to my to-read list too much so it's only short this week!

Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys
The Selection by Kiera Cass
Tessa Masterton Will Go to Prom by Brendan Halpin

I still haven't read Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys but I've heard good things, so when I saw a Goodreads giveaway for Out of the Easy I entered and added it to my to-read list. Hopefully I'll read this author soon! And I've been hearing lots about The Selection so I looked it up and my library has a copy so I'll probably check that out in the future. Tessa Masterton Goes to Prom was a book I discovered on another blog and looks like a great read dealing with LGBT - something I don't come across enough of! So I'm really excited to find out more about that.

What books have you added to your to-read list this week? Anything amazing I should know about? Let me know in the comments or leave a link to your Friday Finds post and I'll check it out!

Friday Finds: 8th March

FRIDAY FINDS is hosted over at Should Be Reading and showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased).

My current challenge is keeping my Goodreads to-read list under 300 books (I'm failing by 2 - need to hurry up and read more!) so I'm trying hard not too add too many new books! Obviously a few have snuck through...

Arch Enemy by Frank Beddor
Spark by Amy Kathleen Ryan
Spellcaster by Claudia Gray
My Name is Rapunzel by K. C. Hilton
Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board by Zoe Aarsen
Enchantment by Charlotte Abel

Arch Enemy and Spark are both sequels to books I finished recently (Seeing Redd and Glow respectively) and so I'm excited to carry on with those series. I've liked what I've read so far of Claudia Gray's Evernight series so I'm looking forward to reading Spellcaster which is the first book in a new series. And I came across My Name is Rapunzel during last week's Friday Finds. I love re-tellings so I hope to check that one out. Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board and Enchantment were free Kindle downloads.

What have you added to your to-read list this week? Leave a link to your Friday Finds post in the comments and I'll be sure to check it out!
